[Support] ISO-8859-1 im HTTP-Header, statt UTF-8

Hallo,

ich habe im <head>-Bereich via <meta http-equiv="content-type" 
content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> angegeben. 
der W3C Validator gibt aber der Anweisung im HTTP-Header Vorrang.

Meine Frage ist nun: Kann man den HTTP-Header ohne großen Aufwand auf UTF-8 
umstellen?
