Nachdem ich sowieso alles durcheinanderbringe natürlich auch die namen. 
Ich meinte das da von Paul:
Das mag sein, hat damit aber nichts zu tun. Du musst den MySQL-Support
explizit laden lassen, eben weil er nicht fest mit eincompiliert ist.
Nur die Tatsache, dass er nicht eincompiliert ist, gibt das
"--without-mysql" an, das sagt nichts darüber aus, ob er als Modul
geladen ist oder nicht.

weiß jemand, wo ich das nachlesen kann, wie man MySQL-Supprot explizit 
einkompiliert?

Habe ich gemacht. bei aufruf des Installationsskriptes von wordpress 
kommt folgende Fehlermeldung

Da ich aber php nicht verstehe, die Supportforen von wordpress dazu 
eigentlich auch nichts zu sagen haben, obwohl andere ähnliche Probleme 
haben, werde ich einstweilen Wordpress nur in den alten Installationen 
ohne php5 verwenden (müssen) und mich nach einer anderen Blog-software 
umsehen möglicherweise auch eine die ich kaufen muss.

Was mich zu einer anderen Frage führt. Kennt jemand eine zuverlässige 
Blogsoftware.
