PURPOSE OF WORK: IOS Performance Upgrade

IMPACT OF WORK: Your site could be down for as long as 10 minutes while we =
load the new IOS code on our Cisco 6509 switches. We will make no system co=
nfiguration changes during this upgrade. This upgrade will address several =
Cisco bulletins that we\'ve received over the last couple of weeks and we e=
xpect this will enhance performance. The code update requires a reboot of t=
he switch. We\'ve allowed for a short test period to ensure that routing re=
turns to normal. We expect minimal downtime as we reboot the switch and per=
form testing with the new IOS.=20
