We are upgrading the routing engines in our aggregrate switches to a hardwa=
re-based ASIC routing engine. These new routing engines will push more pack=
ets per second more quickly throughout our network.
This will provide more responsiveness and it will also allow us to bolster =
our redundancy scheme.=20

Although we\'ve tested the failover functions of the new switch offline, we=
 must also test it online to certify that it will work correctly when you n=
eed it (in the unlikely event of a real routing error).
